What Happened at the Sharm El-Sheikh Summit?
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, the Sharm El-Sheikh summit addressing an end to the Zionist occupiers’ war against Gaza’s oppressed population took place today, Monday, under the hosting of Egypt’s Prime Minister.
At this summit, leaders from various countries expressed their perspectives on the issue.
Donald Trump, President of the United States, stated in his speech: ”We will sign a comprehensive document on an agreement between Israel and hamas. The issue of Israeli captives’ bodies remains unresolved and efforts are ongoing to recover them.”
Trump, who appeared intent on overlooking repeated breaches by Zionist occupiers in previous agreements, claimed: “The agreement between Israel and Hamas will hold. Everything progressed smoothly and unexpectedly well; everyone is pleased. The Gaza agreement is our largest and moast complex deal. We do not want World War III.”
Donald Trump; Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of Egypt; Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of Turkey; and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar signed a comprehensive document concerning the Gaza agreement.
Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said: “We are witnessing a historic moment unlike any before it. We hope this agreement ends a painful chapter in human history. The so-called two-state solution is the only path to fulfill legitimate Palestinian-Israeli demands. Security for nations cannot be achieved through military might but through peace-which remains our strategic choice. The Palestinian right to self-determination is preserved; they must enjoy freedom and sovereignty. Peace does not come from governments alone but from peoples themselves-peace is a common aspiration among all nations involved.”
He added: “In coming days we will work toward laying foundational measures for reconstructing Gaza. We foresee a shining future for this region. We seek a Middle East free from weapons of mass destruction. The Gaza agreement must be implemented alongside pursuing a two-state solution-and today we have signed this historic document accordingly.”
Simultaneously occurring, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz sharif declared at the summit: “Today marks one of the greatest days in modern history as peace has been achieved after arduous efforts! We again nominate President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize! He is best suited because he has saved millions of lives!”
Notably, none of those speaking at this summit condemned nearly two years of genocide carried out by Zionist occupiers in Gaza.
