Qatar: Difficult Negotiations Have Begun

Qatar’s⁢ Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced the​ start‌ of negotiations ⁤on the remaining complex issues between Hamas and the Israeli regime.

According⁢ to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson told ​Fox News, “We have long awaited this historic day-the signing of ⁤the Gaza⁢ agreement-especially over ⁣the past two years. We hope this step will bring stability and peace to ‍the region.”

He added, “We postponed many issues to a second phase ⁢of ceasefire talks to ensure that the first phase would be ⁢conducted properly.‍ Currently, tough negotiations have begun regarding security arrangements ​for Gaza’s border, its governance, and guarantees that war will ⁢not resume.”

The Qatari official⁣ emphasized that these talks aim to prevent any gap between the​ first and second ​phases of‌ the ceasefire agreement.

Earlier, Qatar’s Prime Minister had also stated that complex matters between Hamas and Israel would be‍ addressed during this second phase of discussions.
