154 Released Palestinian Prisoners Enter Egypt

According‍ to the English ​section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen and Mehr News Agency, the Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Office stated that 154 prisoners released in⁤ a swap deal with Israel have entered Egypt. Under the agreement, these individuals were exiled immediately after their release from Israeli prisons.

Among ‌those freed is Mahmoud al-arida, who led the “Freedom tunnel” operation related to the 2021 prison break from Gilboa prison.

In yesterday’s prisoner⁢ exchange between ​Hamas and‌ Israel, nearly 2,000 Palestinian detainees were released in return for⁣ 20 Israeli captives being freed.
