Millions in Yemen Rally Behind Fallen Army Staff Commander
The Yemeni people, in a final statement issued during their million-strong march, expressed pride and sorrow over the martyrdom of Major General Muhammad Abdul karim Al-Ghamari, Chief of Staff of the army.
The statement highlighted Al-Ghamari’s significant role in delivering a humiliating defeat to both America and Britain at sea, as well as to the Zionist enemy throughout two years of war.
Yemen honored its martyred commanders, with special mention given to Martyr Yahya Sinwar. The people pledged unwaveringly to continue along their path without hesitation or retreat.
The declaration reaffirmed Yemen’s firm principled stance rooted in faith, ethics, and humanity concerning Gaza and what it described as “the foremost issue for the Ummah” – Palestine and Al-aqsa Mosque.
It also stressed that Yemenis remain fully attentive to developments in Gaza and are prepared to return to active support shoudl the enemy resort again to betrayal or break any agreements.
During their mass gathering, Yemenis called on all Islamic nations for a sincere and practical return to the Holy Quran as a source of divine guidance and enlightenment.
