Gaza Death Toll Reaches 68,234
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza released a statement detailing the latest casualty figures from Israeli army attacks on the gaza Strip as October 7, 2023.
According to the ministry, a total of 68,234 people have been killed consequently of these assaults up to now.
The medical authority also reported that 170,373 people have been wounded since the conflict began in this enclave.
In the past 24 hours alone, five bodies of martyrs were transferred to hospitals; four were recovered from under rubble while one was killed directly by occupying forces. Additionally, four people were injured during this period.
Thousands more remain missing and trapped beneath debris across Gaza.
Since a ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 2025, 88 individuals have died, and 315 others have been wounded. Meanwhile, rescuers have recovered the bodies of 436 martyrs from under rubble.
An additional 30 unidentified bodies” were handed over by occupying forces, bringing the total number of returned bodies to 195.
