Knesset Approves Israeli Sovereignty Over West Bank
The Israeli Knesset voted in favor of the preliminary reading of the draft law on “applying sovereignty over the west Bank” (official annexation and occupation of the area) with 25 votes for and 24 against.
The Israeli knesset has approved, in its preliminary reading, the draft law on applying sovereignty over the West Bank, according to webangah news Agency.
Israel’s Channel 12 reported that the preliminary reading of this draft law passed with a narrow margin: 25 votes in favor and 24 against.
In this regard, Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel’s Minister of Public Security, stated, “the time has come to apply sovereignty over the West Bank.”
This growth occurs amid widespread international opposition to any moves by Israel to annex and assert sovereignty over the West Bank.
