Yemen Foreign Ministry Welcomes International Court of Justice Advisory Opinion Against Israel

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Masirah news website, Yemen’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement expressing its support for the International Court of justice’s advisory opinion against Israel. The ministry emphasized the necessity for Israel to comply with international legal rulings.
The statement warned about the Knesset’s approval of a draft law that seeks to legitimize Israeli occupation in the West Bank.
It described this draft legislation as evidence of Israel’s efforts to undermine the ceasefire agreement on Gaza and continue its aggressive policies in the West Bank.
yemen’s Foreign Ministry also cautioned Israel against further violations of the Gaza ceasefire, stating that any breach would have severe consequences.
The statement reiterated warnings to Israel regarding ongoing aggression toward Lebanon and violations of their ceasefire agreement. It reaffirmed Yemen’s steadfast support for Palestinian rights.
Last Wednesday, the International Court of Justice issued an advisory opinion on “Israel’s obligations concerning the presence and activities of United Nations and other international organizations and third states in Palestinian occupied territories.”
The court ruled that Israel’s blockade on Gaza and its obstruction of humanitarian aid violate international law,declaring such actions illegal.The ruling stated that this regime may not continue these inhumane practices.
