Moscow Encircles 10,000 Ukrainian Troops on Two Fronts and Seizes Vital Bridge

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, President Vladimir Putin received updates on the latest developments of the Russian military campaign in Ukraine during his visit to a command center.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Putin met with Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff, and senior military commanders to review the status of the “contact lines.”
Russia Today reported that Russian forces have encircled approximately 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers around Kupiansk and Krasnoarmiysk areas.
Peskov stated that about 5,000 Ukrainian troops are surrounded near Kupiansk and roughly 5,500 in Krasnoarmiysk.
The russian military also announced it has taken control of a bridge over the Askol River, disrupting Ukrainian troop movements.They are nearing completion of liberating yampol district. The neighboring Volchansk area is reportedly 70 percent cleared.
Peskov added that a total of 31 Ukrainian battalions are encircled in Krasnoarmiysk and Dmytriv regions.Putin praised Russian forces for their successes at Kupiansk and achieving operational goals elsewhere on the frontlines.
