Mohammed Abdulsalam Consults with UN Special Envoy

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Almasirah via Mehr News Agency, ‍Mohammed Abdulsalam, head of Yemen’s Ansarullah negotiating team, stated on Wednesday that he met with the United Nations Special envoy to discuss ⁤advancing the peace‌ process based on ‌a roadmap previously proposed through Omani ⁤mediation and agreed upon with Saudi Arabia.

He emphasized the urgent need to resume implementing the ⁣roadmap’s provisions, especially those related to human rights, stressing that there is no justification for continued delays in their‌ execution.

Abdulsalam also highlighted‍ during the ‍meeting the futility of unjustified detentions of workers from organizations operating in Yemen.He noted that ⁢security agencies in Sana’a ‍have provided data regarding ​sabotage acts ⁤by some detainees to ⁢the United Nations.

He affirmed that relevant authorities‌ are ready to present documents proving that ‌some ​individuals have engaged in espionage ⁣under the cover of⁢ humanitarian work.

Abdulsalam reiterated‍ Ansarullah’s commitment to seeking just solutions, maintaining coordination with international ‌bodies, and ensuring lawful and safe operations for organizations within their humanitarian mandates.
