Axios: Hamas Has 24 Hours to Withdraw Forces from Gaza’s Green Line

According ​to the English section of ⁤ webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency, Axios quoted a U.S. official stating that Hamas has been⁤ given 24 hours to pull ⁢its forces out of the area behind‍ Gaza’s Green Line.

The U.S. ⁣official added that if Hamas fails ⁤to comply within this timeframe, ⁤Israel will launch ⁤attacks against ‍Hamas positions in those areas and enforce a ceasefire in Gaza by force.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed on Wednesday night that his government would bring Hamas⁤ to its knees.

A ceasefire ⁤between Israel ‍and Hamas was established on October​ 10⁤ under a 20-point plan proposed by then-U.S.​ President Donald ⁣Trump.Though, Israel recently​ violated the ceasefire by attacking various parts of Gaza, killing dozens ⁣of Palestinian civilians.
