Colombian President: Gaza Is the Capital of Resistance Worldwide
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency, Colombian President Petro Sánchez said in an interview with Al Jazeera on Sunday: “We must hold a peace conference based on a two-state solution to end the suffering of the Palestinian people. I intend to award the Simón Bolívar Medal of Great Fighter to honor the sacrifices of Gaza’s people.”
The Colombian president continued: “despite efforts to conceal the truth, humanity has witnessed genocide firsthand in the Gaza Strip. We are ready to send our doctors there. I am constantly in contact with heroes inside Gaza.”
Sánchez added,”The narrative and suffering of the Palestinian people must reach global ears. Israel is committing genocide.The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Israel’s Prime Minister and his former Defense minister, yet Trump ignores them. We are coordinating with the Red Crescent in Cairo to deliver aid to Gaza.”
He emphasized, “Israel is oppressing everyone-christians and Arabs alike. I urge countries that supported this genocide to atone for their sins by participating in reconstructing Gaza. Gaza is the capital of resistance worldwide.”
The president also stated: “What is happening in Sudan amounts to genocide.”
