Drone Flight Forces Brussels Airport Closure

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera Qatar, Belgian air traffic control announced that flights at Brussels Airport were temporarily suspended after an unidentified drone was detected in the country’s airspace.
The recent event follows a similar incident at Copenhagen International Airport in Denmark, where several large drones caused a temporary shutdown after entering Danish airspace.
On Monday, flight operations at Bremen Airport in Germany were halted following the sighting of an unidentified drone near the facility.
In recent weeks, unauthorized drones entering European airports’ airspace-including copenhagen and Oslo-have led to temporary closures and widespread disruptions across European aviation networks.
European officials have warned about refined drone networks and their broad security implications. Investigations have begun into establishing a so-called “drone wall” as a countermeasure against this emerging threat.
