Pentagon: US Must Be Prepared Amid Global Concerns

the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Economic Times, reported that U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth compared the current global situation to the “days of 1939.”
Without mentioning his country’s various aggressive actions and escalating tensions across the globe, he added that if the United States wants to prevent war, it must begin preparing now.
Hegseth said: “The world today is comparable to 1939.Right now is a moment similar to 1939-or I hope it’s closer to a moment in 1981. It is a time of growing danger. Enemies are aligning; threats are increasing. you feel it-I feel it.”
He claimed,”If the United States wants to avoid war-and that is exactly what we want-it must start preparing instantly.”
The American official also stated that due to what he described as “worrying global conditions,” the United States has put its military industry on full alert.
