Shocking Account of Gaza’s Captive Martyrs: 15 More Bodies Delivered
According to Mehr, citing the Palestine Information Centre, Dr. Mohammad Abu Salmiya, Director General of Al-Shifa Medical complex in Gaza City, shared disturbing details about the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip in an interview with Al-Aqsa Network.
He stated that the bodies of martyrs handed over through the Red Cross were severely dismembered and unrecognizable. He added that medical teams confirmed Israeli occupiers had stolen organs from some victims’ bodies.
Abu Salmiya emphasized that medical staff are working under catastrophic conditions without adequate resources to save wounded patients. Many injured individuals are dying before doctors’ eyes due to a lack of essential equipment and medicines.
He also noted that the occupying regime not only blocks medicine and food supplies from entering Gaza but also prevents patients and wounded people from leaving for treatment abroad.
The Al-Shifa hospital director warned any delay in supplying medical necessities will cost many more Palestinian lives.
Delivery of 15 More Martyr Bodies to Gaza
Meanwhile, as part of a prisoner exchange deal with Palestinian resistance groups, the Israeli occupation army has handed over the bodies of 15 additional martyred detainees from Gaza.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that today they will bury 38 unidentified martyr bodies received so far.
As a ceasefire went into effect in Gaza untill now, authorities have received a total of 315 martyr bodies.
