Terrorist Attack Targets Military Academy in Pakistan

The Pakistan army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced that on Monday, during an operation to clear the Cadet College in South Waziristan, security forces killed at least two terrorists.
According to webangah News Agency, citing Dawn News, the initial attempt by the terrorists to breach the secure area was thwarted by a prompt and decisive response from loyal forces.
However, attackers then rammed a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device into the main gate of the cadet college. This caused portions of the gate and adjacent structures to collapse.
The terrorists subsequently entered the training center but were trapped inside the administrative block of the college.
The ISPR added that security personnel engaged with unwavering courage and professional superiority to carefully confront and neutralize the attackers.
