Fidan Consults with Syrian and US Officials at the White House

according to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Turkey Today,Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with senior U.S. officials and Abu Mohammad al-Julani, leader of the terrorist group controlling parts of syria, during his trip to washington. They discussed regional developments and the gaza Strip.
Fidan’s visit coincided with al-Julani’s trip to the United States, where he attended a joint meeting with President Donald Trump.
At the White house, Turkey’s foreign minister also held talks with Asaad Al-Sheibani, foreign minister of Syria’s interim government; U.S. Secretary of State Marco rubio; Vice President J.D. vance; and Tom Barrett, special envoy for syrian affairs.
In a press conference with Turkish media following his meetings in Washington, fidan stated that he conveyed Ankara’s positions on Syria’s territorial integrity and sanctions against Syria to American officials.
He added that discussions included conflict zones in southern and northern Syria as key topics addressed during the talks.
