Air Defense Drill Held in Venezuela

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Euronews, venezuela began extensive military drills on Tuesday aimed at protecting its airspace from any potential foreign aggression. The exercises involve the army, popular forces, and police.
Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López stated in Caracas during the drills: “Irrespective of the type, intensity, or scale of any threat, we are determined to defend our homeland.”
The military maneuvers come amid rising tensions between Caracas and Washington over recent weeks. The Trump management ordered warships deployed near Venezuelan shores and has conducted multiple airstrikes in the Caribbean region in recent months.
Reports indicate that at least 75 people have been killed in 19 airstrikes since Washington began operations in the Caribbean Sea.
