IAEA Issues Controversial Report on Iran’s Nuclear Program

the International Atomic Energy Agency ⁣raised allegations regarding Iran’s peaceful nuclear ‌program in its report.

According to the English section of ‍ webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al ⁣jazeera, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) issued a statement on ⁤Wednesday announcing that in June it ‌inspected⁤ Iran’s nuclear ‌facilities that had not been bombed and did not inspect any ⁢damaged⁤ sites.

The IAEA claimed ⁢in this report that as of June 13, Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile was estimated at 9,874.9 kilograms. Inspections have not fully resumed; thus, the agency’s estimates of‍ Iran’s stockpiles remain unchanged.

The report also alleges⁢ that Iran must provide a detailed⁢ account of damaged nuclear materials and⁤ facilities but has yet to do so.
