UN Security Council Extends Yemen Sanctions for One More Year

The United Nations Security Council has extended Yemen sanctions for another year.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, the United Nations Security Council voted to approve a resolution extending Yemen-related sanctions for an additional year.
These sanctions include financial measures and travel bans under Resolution 2140.
The Security Council condemned Ansarallah’s cross-border and maritime attacks in the resolution without mentioning the unilateral aggression by the United States, United Kingdom, and Israeli regime against Yemen. It also called for an immediate halt to these attacks.
