The Danger Threatening Palestinians Even After the Gaza War Ends

An English‌ publication highlighted ⁢the long-term danger that Palestinian refugees face ⁣in Gaza even after the war ends.

The English section‍ of ⁢ webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency ⁤and Quds, reported⁢ that an English magazine, The Economist, stated Gaza contains the highest concentration of unexploded bombs and explosives in‌ any conflict zone worldwide. These ordnances pose a long-term threat to Palestinians even after⁣ hostilities ⁣cease in the ⁣strip.

The⁣ report added that some bombs used by the Israeli regime are designed to detonate with timed ⁣mechanisms ⁤inside buildings or underground. This complexity makes their detection difficult and substantially increases⁢ hidden ⁤dangers beneath⁣ rubble.

According to United Nations reports, unexploded ordnances left from ⁣the war on Gaza have caused hundreds of deaths and injuries.

The UN ⁣also stated that over seven thousand tons of unexploded bombs and explosives remain scattered across ‌40 ‌percent of residential⁢ areas‌ in Gaza.
