Peace Agreement Reached Between Democratic Republic of Congo and M23 Alliance

The Democratic Republic of Congo and the M23 River Alliance agreed on saturday to pursue peace through negotiations held in Doha,according to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Al Jazeera.
Masad Boulos,senior advisor on Arab and African affairs to former President Trump,sought to highlight Washington’s role by stating that signing the peace agreement in Congo “is a beginning,” adding that they anticipate fruitful outcomes.
Boulos further explained that this achievement was made possible through cooperation between Qatar and the United States. He emphasized ongoing collaboration with humanitarian organizations to support the Democratic Republic of Congo. “State authority and rule of law will restore stability in the democratic Republic of Congo,” he said.
He also noted that the African Union will play a significant role in implementing the peace agreement within the democratic Republic of Congo.
