Pushkov: Putin-Trump Summit Agreements Unwelcome for Ukrainians

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and RIA Novosti, Yuri Ushakov, aide to the Russian president, stated on Sunday that the planned meeting between Putin and Trump has been postponed for now, but talks are ongoing.
Ushakov added that Russia and the United States are actively negotiating a resolution to the Ukraine crisis based on the understandings reached in Anchorage during the Alaska summit between Putin and Trump. Moscow views these agreements as a positive path toward a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine issue.
He further noted that these understandings have been conveyed to Ukraine, though they do not welcome them. the United States has not officially declared whether it will implement these Anchorage agreements. If Putin and Trump agree to meet, many technical details regarding arranging the summit will be secondary considerations.
