according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Rosilyoum via Mehr News Agency, ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed his nation in a video message, warning that Ukraine faces a difficult choice ahead.
He stated: “The options are losing our dignity or risking the loss of our main ally. It is indeed either accepting this tough 28-point plan or enduring a very harsh winter.”
Zelensky emphasized that two issues must not be overlooked in this plan: the dignity and freedom of the Ukrainian people.He added, ”These two principles are basic to Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence, territory, and future.”
He continued: “We did not betray Ukraine in February 2022, and we never will. The pressure on our contry right now ranks among the most risky challenges we have faced. I know my people stand with me. Ukrainians are made of steel-yet even the strongest metals can be broken. We remain calm as we collaborate with the United states and all our partners. Ukrainians want this war to end.”
