Hamas Denies Zionist Claims That Gaza Peace Agreement Has Ended
A senior Hamas official dismissed Israeli media claims that the ceasefire agreement in Gaza has ended as false.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen network, Izat al-Rishq, a member of Hamas’s political bureau, denied Israeli sources’ allegations that Steve Witkoff, the U.S. special envoy for Middle east affairs, informed Hamas that the ceasefire deal in Gaza had collapsed.
He called on mediators and the U.S.government to pressure Israel to clarify the identity of an armed individual whom Israel claims was sent by Hamas.
Al-Rishq added that Israel is inventing excuses to avoid honoring the agreement and return to war and genocide in Gaza.Meanwhile, he accused Israel itself of deliberately violating the ceasefire on a daily basis.
