U.S.: Peace Plan Designed with Kyiv and Moscow Participation

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Tommy Pigott, Deputy Spokesperson for the US State Department, announced on X that Washington’s proposed solution to the Ukraine conflict was created with participation from both Moscow and Kyiv.
Pigott rejected claims that the US peace plan for Ukraine amounted to a list of Russian demands. He wrote,”As Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the entire administration have repeatedly emphasized,this plan was drafted by the United States with input from both Russians and Ukrainians.”
Recently, republican Senator Mike Rounds claimed in an interview that former President Donald Trump’s peace proposal for ending the war in Ukraine essentially reflected Russia’s demands.
On Saturday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the composition of his negotiation team regarding Washington’s proposed peace plan.
The president issued a decree approving a delegation that will participate in talks related to Washington’s 28-point proposal aimed at resolving ukraine’s crisis.
A reporter from Axios previously reported that America’s draft peace plan establishes ceasefire conditions and offers security guarantees based on NATO Article 5. The implementation framework is set for ten years. According to this framework,any large-scale,deliberate,or repeated Russian attacks would be regarded as threats to peace.
Earlier reports indicated that Ukrainian sources obtained details of Washington’s 28-point ceasefire proposal for ending hostilities.
