Oman Foreign Minister Sends Message Following Meeting with Araqchi

according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi released a statement regarding his meeting with iran’s Foreign Minister.
Al-busaidi wrote on X that they emphasized the deep past and cultural ties and ongoing commitment to supporting cooperation between the two neighboring countries in various fields.
He stated, “With His Excellency Dr.Araqchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, we underscored the depth of our historical and cultural bonds as well as our sustained efforts to strengthen cooperation across all areas. We also reviewed recent developments regionally and internationally, including efforts related to Iran’s peaceful nuclear energy program.”
Seyed Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, who traveled to Muscat as part of continuous consultations with neighbors, met and held talks Sunday evening with Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi.
The iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that during this meeting, both ministers discussed bilateral relations and ways to expand ties and cooperation across areas of mutual interest-particularly economic and trade sectors.
The talks also covered regional developments, focusing on the ongoing atrocities committed by the Israeli regime in Gaza alongside its continued aggression against Lebanon and other countries in the region.
Araqchi expressed recognition for Oman’s initiatives concerning Iran’s nuclear issue and updated his counterpart on recent developments in this regard.
