Dominican Republic Grants U.S. Permission for Airspace Use

Teh dominican Republic ⁢has authorized the united States too use an airbase for operations‍ against drug traffickers.

According to the English section of webangah⁤ News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and ⁤Russia Today, the⁣ government ​of the Dominican Republic has granted the United⁣ States permission to use an airbase on its territory to conduct operations described as an “attack against drug traffickers.”

This growth comes days after⁤ U.S.⁣ officials‍ announced on Saturday, November‌ 21, that they are prepared to ​launch a new phase‌ of‍ military operations against Venezuela in the coming days.

Some U.S.‌ government officials also informed Axios that President Donald trump told‌ his advisers he intends to ⁢hold direct talks with Nicolás Maduro, president of Venezuela.

These sources ⁤claimed Trump’s decision ⁢represents a significant turning point in his aggressive diplomacy toward Venezuela and may indicate⁤ that a direct military assault or intervention by the United States against Caracas is not imminent.
