One Shooting Victim Near White House Dies

According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Al Arabiya Al Jadid, former U.S. President Donald Trump announced Thursday night local time that one of the two National Guard members shot in Washington D.C. had passed away.
Trump identified the deceased as 20-year-old National Guard member sarah Baekstrom, who succumbed to her injuries.
Speaking on Thanksgiving Day to National Guard members, Trump said the other guard member is currently “fighting for his life.”
Trump: We must deport all “non-beneficial” foreigners
Trump stated, “We must take all necessary measures to deport any foreigner from any country who does not belong here or does not benefit our nation. If they don’t love our country, we do not want them either.”
joseph edlow, head of U.S. Customs and immigration Enforcement (ICE),posted on X stating: “I have ordered a thorough and extensive review of all permanent residency (green card) cases involving foreign nationals from concerning countries.”
When asked by a spokesperson which countries this referred to,he pointed to Trump’s June executive order that designated 19 nations as “countries of concern.”
Just two months after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, America faces shock and fear again as Thanksgiving approaches. Two West Virginia National Guard members were shot near the White House by a 29-year-old Afghan national and former CIA colleague.
The shooting occurred Wednesday afternoon near Farragut West Metro Station-several blocks from the White house at the intersection of 17th Street and First Northwest in Washington D.C.-at a time when military presence in the capital and other U.S. cities has become a politically sensitive issue during Donald Trump’s administration.
