Hazem Qasim: The Criminal Army Has Intensified Its Attacks on Gaza

The Hamas spokesperson confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces have escalated their attacks on Gaza. According to webangah News AgencyS English section, citing Mehr News Agency and Shehab News Agency, the bombardment continues unabated.
Hazem Qassem, spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, emphasized that last night the Zionist regime’s criminal army stepped up its relentless warfare against Gaza by increasing assaults across land, sea, and air while continuing to carry out home demolitions.
The Hamas spokesman stated: “the deliberate killing this morning of two children by Israeli occupiers once again demonstrates that a genocidal campaign against Gaza’s residents is ongoing. The Israeli attacks have neither ceased nor diminished but instead have intensified.”
He urged mediators, guarantor countries of agreements, and participants in the Sharm El-Sheikh summit to take serious measures to halt Israel’s violations of ceasefire agreements and compel the regime to fulfill its commitments under those accords.
Meanwhile, Ismail Al-Thawabteh, director general of Palestine’s government media office in Gaza told Al Jazeera that since announcing a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel untill now, Israel has violated this agreement 535 times documentedly.during this period 350 Palestinians were killed and 900 injured.
He added that according to the agreement 28,000 humanitarian aid trucks were supposed to enter Gaza so far; though Israel permitted only 9,930 trucks-just 35 percent of the agreed total-to pass through into the strip.
Al-Thawabteh noted that destroyed infrastructure and Israeli violations have pushed conditions in Gaza into an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.
At the same time, Haaretz reported citing Palestinian and arab sources that negotiations in Cairo over a second phase ceasefire for Gaza have reached a complete deadlock. Israel refuses to accept implementing phase two involving withdrawal from Gaza. Meanwhile Hamas rejects handing over weapons without clear guarantees secured first.
