Macron and Zelensky Hold Talks with Several European Leaders

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing ⁣Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, the Élysée‌ Palace‍ issued a⁤ statement on‌ Tuesday confirming that French⁤ President Emmanuel Macron ⁤and Ukrainian President ⁤Volodymyr Zelensky held talks with several⁢ European heads of ​state.

During his meeting with‌ macron, Zelensky spoke by phone with ⁣Brett McGurk, the ⁤U.S.⁤ chief negotiator, and Rustem Umurov, Secretary of ⁣Ukraine’s Security and Defense Council and head‍ of Kyiv’s negotiation‍ team. They discussed the outcomes of recent talks in ⁢Florida.

They reviewed the results ⁣of yesterday’s‌ negotiations​ between Ukraine⁣ and the⁤ United States.

Reports indicate that ⁤McGurk met again with ‍Umurov before flying to ​moscow.

Zelensky stated: “After our⁤ delegation’s meeting in Florida, I spoke with⁤ Macron, Starmer, and McGurk. We agreed to discuss further ⁣details in ⁢person.”

Reuters also reported Zelensky saying after his⁣ meeting ⁤with the French president that Macron ​emphasized‌ the need to end the war​ and maintain lasting peace in Ukraine.
