Colombia Resumes Civil and Passenger Flights with Venezuela, Rejecting US Flight Ban Request.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via al-Mayadeen network, Colombian President gustavo Petro announced that his country will resume passenger flights with Venezuela.
He also urged the international community to take similar steps.
The Colombian president emphasized that the United States has no right to close venezuelan airspace.
Notably, US President Donald Trump declared on Saturday night that all airspace over and around Venezuela would be closed until further notice.
On the social media platform Truth Social,Trump justified this hostile measure by stating: “Airlines,drug traffickers,and human smugglers must consider Venezuelan airspace wholly closed.”
