Trump Confident of Resolving Russia-Ukraine Crisis Amidst Ongoing Discussions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Donald Trump has expressed confidence in resolving the Russia-Ukraine crisis. Trump stated, “We are working to resolve the Russia-Ukraine crisis,” adding, “I believe we will eventually succeed in resolving this crisis.”
Trump’s remarks come weeks after he presented a 28-point plan aimed at resolving the conflict, sparking extensive discussions among European and U.S. officials. A meeting between a U.S. delegation, led by Steve Witkoff, special representative of Donald Trump, and Russian President Vladimir Putin took place two days prior to the statement.
Prior to the meeting with Putin, the American delegation met with Ukrainian officials in Florida. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio described the meeting as productive but emphasized that more work remains to be done.
In his recent statements regarding the Ukraine crisis, Vladimir Putin stated that Moscow disagrees with parts of the U.S. plan to end the war in Ukraine.
