Venezuela Accuses Washington of Unprecedented Psychological Warfare Campaign

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Ivan Gil stated on Tuesday that Washington has launched an unprecedented psychological warfare campaign against the South American nation, attributing the move to the failure of U.S. sanctions, which he noted are also supported by the European Union.
Speaking at the inauguration of the ‘Association of Nations for Peace and Sovereignty of America,’ Gil emphasized that this marks the first time in nearly 200 years that such threats are being employed, with economic, military, and media power being leveraged to advance an unprecedented psychological warfare campaign.
The Venezuelan foreign minister also condemned what he described as ‘American imperialist efforts to revive the Monroe Doctrine,’ asserting that Washington’s goal is to impose dominance over the American continent.
He stressed that U.S. policies represent ‘not only a direct threat against Venezuela but also a danger to all of Latin America and the independent nations of the world.’ Gil concluded by expressing gratitude to countries that have shown solidarity with Venezuela, noting that despite the threats from the United States, the people of Venezuela continue to live in peace.
