According to Fars News Agency International Group, an appeals court in Denmark confirmed the prison sentence for three members of an Iranian separatist group this Friday.
Washington Post newspaper reported that members of this separatist group were accused of promoting terrorism in Iran and collecting information for a Saudi intelligence service.
These three people were sentenced to six, seven, and eight years in prison in 2022 by a lower court.
The Eastern High Court in Copenhagen ruled that these people will be deported from Denmark. The appeals court has not announced the names of the accused.
The Washington Post reported that the defendants will serve their sentences in Danish prisons, but it is not yet clear when they will be deported.
