Hamas Accuses Israel of Responsibility for Rafah Explosion, Calls for International Pressure

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas released a statement on Wednesday night detailing the recent explosion in the Rafah region and placing full blame on the Zionist regime. The movement asserted that the blast occurred in an area completely controlled by occupying forces, with no Palestinian presence or activity at the time.
Hamas highlighted that it had previously warned about the dangers of unexploded ordnance and military remnants left behind from the conflict in Rafah and other areas. The group clarified that it bears no responsibility for these remnants, particularly those planted by the occupying forces themselves, since the implementation of the recent agreement began.
In the statement, Hamas called for increased international pressure on Israel to adhere to signed agreements and prevent further escalation. The movement urged the global community to stop the occupiers from using pretexts to undermine the agreement and perpetuate tensions.
Hamas reaffirmed its commitment to the agreements and the obligations they entail, stating that the resistance remains steadfast in honoring the negotiated path.
