Cuba Condemns US Fuel Blockade as Trump Imposes New Sanctions

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla has strongly condemned the US for cutting fuel supplies to the island nation, accusing Washington of attempting to worsen living conditions through an economic blockade.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla has vehemently denounced the United States’ latest measures to disrupt fuel supplies to Cuba. In a post on the social media platform X, Rodriguez stated that Washington is deliberately imposing harsh living conditions on the Cuban people through an energy blockade.

Rodriguez declared, ‘We condemn in the strongest terms the US escalation against Cuba. Washington seeks to enforce a comprehensive blockade on our country’s fuel supply.’

The Foreign Minister emphasized Cuba’s revolutionary resilience against the new sanctions by the Trump administration, asserting, ‘We are a revolutionary people and will always be ready to fight.’

These statements follow US President Donald Trump’s recent executive order imposing additional tariffs on goods imported from countries that directly or indirectly sell petroleum products to Cuba.
