Israeli Army Involved in Drug Trafficking to Gaza, TV Report Reveals

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a report by Channel 12, an Israeli television network, has revealed the involvement of the Israeli army in drug trafficking operations into the Gaza Strip. The report identifies the “Bedouins” battalion as a key participant in smuggling drugs and cigarettes into Gaza through the Kerem Shalom crossing.
The Israeli military has classified the case as “extremely dangerous” from a security standpoint and confirmed that investigations are ongoing. Following the exposure of this corruption scandal, the battalion has been relocated from the Kerem Shalom area to the Kisufim region.
Channel 12 described the transfer of the battalion after over two decades of deployment in Kerem Shalom as highly unusual. The report underscores the severity of the allegations and the potential implications for military oversight in the region.
