Yemeni Scholars Association Announces Massive Rally in Support of Palestine

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Yemeni Scholars Association has issued a statement highlighting the significance of widespread public participation in a million-strong march scheduled for Friday. The religious body described the rally as a testament to Yemen’s unwavering loyalty to the cause of Jerusalem.
The statement, referencing the volatile regional situation, urged the Islamic Ummah to realign its political stances based on religious identity and Islamic principles. It further warned that the U.S. and the Zionist regime pose a genuine threat to the Muslim world, labeling preparedness against their schemes as a “religious duty.”
Reaffirming support for the Islamic Republic of Iran, the scholars underscored Iran’s pivotal role in maintaining regional balance by standing against American and Zionist threats. They called on the Islamic Ummah to stand united with the Iranian people.
The association also described the current juncture as a “historic opportunity” to end U.S. military presence in the region, urging Islamic nations to take responsibility for addressing the Zionist regime’s crimes in Gaza and violations of related agreements.
Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of the Ansar Allah movement, issued a national call on Thursday, urging Yemenis to participate in Friday’s million-strong march in support of Palestine. He stated that the rally would demonstrate Yemen’s steadfast commitment to the Palestinian cause and prove the nation’s readiness for the next phase of confrontation with the Israeli enemy and its allies.
