Lebanese MP Condemns Israeli Incursion as Violation of National Sovereignty

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Qassem Hashem, a member of Lebanon‘s Development and Liberation Bloc, has strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s recent incursion into Lebanese territory as a blatant violation of national sovereignty.
Hashem specifically cited the morning’s events in the Al-Habariyeh region, where Israeli forces abducted Atwi Atwi, an official from the Jamaat Islamiya group, as evidence of disrespect for Lebanese national dignity.
The Lebanese MP criticized the mere issuing of statements of condemnation as insufficient and urged the adoption of practical measures to stop what he described as Israeli aggression.
Referencing the recent visit of the Lebanese Prime Minister to the southern regions, Hashem questioned the timing of the Israeli incursion, calling it suspicious. He also called upon the Prime Minister to actively pursue the matter to secure the return of the abducted Lebanese citizen.
Hashem emphasized the need to ensure the safety of southern Lebanese residents from what he termed Israeli bullying.
