UK Condemns Israeli Policy on West Bank Land Sales

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the British government has reacted strongly to recent decisions by the Israeli security cabinet regarding the West Bank. Citing reports from Al Jazeera, London issued a statement condemning the new measures.
The UK government emphasized that any alterations to the status of land, executive powers, and administrative jurisdictions in the West Bank would seriously undermine efforts to establish peace and stability in the region. London urged the Israeli government to immediately retract the decisions.
Furthermore, Britain has declared any unilateral actions by Israel to alter the geographical or demographic composition of Palestine as completely unacceptable. The Israeli security cabinet on Monday approved a series of new decisions, including the repeal of a Jordanian law prohibiting land sales to Jews in the West Bank, as well as the expansion of settlements in the area. This law dates back to the period of Jordanian rule over the West Bank prior to the 1967 occupation.
