Kurdish Regional Leaders Attend Ceremony Marking Anniversary of Iranian Islamic Revolution in Erbil

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a gathering was hosted at the Iranian Consulate General in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, to observe the 47th anniversary of the triumph of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. The event saw the participation of prominent political figures, administrative officials, diplomats, and representatives from various nations.

Among the distinguished attendees was Fowzi Hariri, who serves as the President of the Diwan of the Presidency for the Kurdistan Regional Government. Mr. Hariri attended as the special representative of Nechirvan Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq. During the commemoration, Mr. Hariri extended congratulations on the anniversary to the Consul General of Iran and offered wishes for stability and reconciliation for the Iranian nation.

Faramarz Asadi, the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil, also addressed the attendees. He placed significant emphasis on the existing robust relations and mutual cordiality between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
