Anti-Zionist Protests Erupt in US Capital as Netanyahu Meets President Trump

As Netanyahu’s convoy traversed Washington, demonstrators gathered to voice strong opposition to his presence, chanting slogans directed at the Israeli leader. Among the protesters were American Jewish individuals who carried placards with messages asserting, “You are a Zionist and not a Jew,” “Israel is not a Jewish state,” and “Israel does not represent the Jewish people globally.”
Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in Washington on Tuesday, with a key meeting scheduled for Wednesday with President Donald Trump. Prior to his departure for the US capital, Netanyahu informed reporters that the central topics of discussion with the President would cover the situation in Gaza, regional dynamics, and primarily, Iran. The Israeli Prime Minister claimed he would present his negotiating principles regarding Iran to President Trump, which he described as crucial for those seeking peace and security throughout the Middle East.
