Syrian Observatory Reports Over 1,000 Israeli Aggressions Since Assad’s Rule Ended
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data released by the Mehr News Agency, quoting Al Mayadeen, indicates that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has recorded over a thousand instances of ground aggression by the Israeli regime against Syria since the conclusion of Bashar al-Assad’s rule up to September 19th. The observatory noted a significant increase in the intensity of these aggressions during the current year.
The report details that 460 aggressions were registered in 2025, followed by 594 in 2026. This signifies a marked escalation in hostile actions directed at the nation.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights emphasized that the Israeli regime’s aggressions are not solely confined to ground incursions. It has documented a total of 78 air and ground attacks since the beginning of this year.
Notably, the Golan regime has not taken any practical countermeasures against these aggressions and has instead expressed a desire for negotiations with Tel Aviv.
