According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a new series of Iranian missile attacks on important and sensitive security and military bases in Tel Aviv has resulted in extensive power outages, considerable damage, and significant human casualties in the occupied territories. Israeli media reported that the new wave of Iranian missile attacks on the occupied territories led to widespread electricity blackouts and the suspension of metro train services in Tel Aviv. According to Israeli media outlets, these attacks targeted several key areas of Tel Aviv, with Iranian missiles penetrating multi-layered defense systems to hit their objectives and causing widespread destruction. Al Jazeera reported on Iranian missiles striking Israeli regime positions in the Ramat Gan area of Tel Aviv, causing extensive damage to its security and military facilities from next-generation super-heavy missiles equipped with cluster warheads, and released footage of these missiles hitting central and eastern Tel Aviv. This report indicates that Israeli military and security bases in the Holon area and central Tel Aviv also sustained significant damage and casualties from intense missile attacks.

US Navy Carrier Gerald R. Ford ‘Grounded’

American officials announced that the US Navy carrier Gerald R. Ford will anchor in Greece for repairs, which the US government described as ‘temporary.’ Reuters, citing American officials, reported that the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier will be ‘temporarily’ docked in the port of Crete, Greece. Last week, the US Navy confirmed a fire aboard the largest US warship in a statement but claimed it was unrelated to the conflict with Iran or Iranian missile impacts. The US acknowledged that two crew members sustained ‘non-life-threatening injuries’ due to the fire. According to the US Navy’s claims, the combat operations of this 100,000-ton carrier, deployed in the Red Sea during the conflict with Iran, were not affected by the fire resulting from Iranian missile attacks. The American newspaper The New York Times, in a report, detailed the poor conditions of the crew and personnel aboard this $13 billion carrier, describing the damage inflicted. It stated that approximately 600 sailors on the carrier lost their sleeping quarters due to the fire and are sleeping on tables or the deck, with many unable to use laundry facilities. The report also mentioned that the USS Gerald R. Ford is undergoing repairs in Greece.

Hezbollah Missile Attacks Against Israel

Israeli media reported that Hezbollah launched at least 50 rockets towards the Karmiel and Upper Galilee regions in its latest missile salvo. Israel’s Channel Kan reported that Hezbollah targeted northern occupied territories from a distance of 100 kilometers from the Lebanese border. Hezbollah also announced in a statement that it had targeted a Merkava tank and a D-9 bulldozer belonging to the Israeli army. The group also reported attacking enemy military gatherings east of Al-Khiyam prison in the Khaybar 1 operation wave, as well as the Meron control base and the air operations management center in the same wave. Additionally, Israel’s Channel 14 reported detecting new rocket launches from Iran towards the ‘Negev’ and ‘Dead Sea’ areas.

The World Health Organization (WHO) stated that escalating conflicts have extensive consequences for healthcare delivery in Iran and across the region, as some medical facilities have ceased operations, and ambulances face difficulties accessing the wounded. Attacks on health facilities have also intensified. The international organization emphasized that regional developments are part of a disturbing pattern of violence against the health system. It stressed that the wounded, patients with chronic diseases, pregnant women, and the elderly must be able to access healthcare services. The WHO pointed to the targeting of medical personnel in Sudan, the Gaza Strip, and the West Bank, as well as an attack on a hospital in Kabul, and highlighted that attacks on oil facilities can lead to the spread of infectious diseases. It is noteworthy that the United States and the Israeli regime have repeatedly targeted medical and civilian centers in Iran.
