Pakistan President Extends Condolences on Martyrdom of Iran’s Ali Larijani

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has issued a statement offering condolences on the martyrdom of Ali Larijani, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council. The announcement comes amid heightened regional tensions and condemnation from Russia regarding acts of aggression against Iranian officials.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari issued a statement on Wednesday offering condolences on the martyrdom of Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council. This message was conveyed via a statement released by Radio Pakistan, as reported by the Mehr News Agency.

The statement from the Pakistani President’s office highlighted that escalating tensions have resulted in significant human and infrastructural losses, leading to severe economic repercussions across the region.

In parallel, Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian Presidential Administration (Kremlin), issued a statement on Wednesday, asserting Russia’s strong condemnation of any actions aimed at harming, and particularly assassinating, Iranian officials. Peskov further stated that the vast majority of media reports concerning the conflict in Iran are fabricated and inaccurate. He noted that the energy market has become destabilized due to the conflicts surrounding Iran, making market development predictions difficult.

Ali Larijani, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, attained martyrdom following an aggression by the Zionist regime and the United States.
