US Faces Political Crisis Over Iran War Amid Global Recession Fears

A columnist for The American Conservative warns that escalating tensions with Iran, driven by U.S. and Israeli actions, are pushing the Trump administration toward a political crisis, potentially impacting upcoming midterm elections and future Republican prospects.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Andrew Dice, a columnist for The American Conservative magazine, has written that rising oil prices due to the West Asia conflict are paving the way for a global recession.

He stated that the aggression of the United States and Israel against Iran is pushing the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump toward a political crisis.

The American analyst pointed to the congressional midterm elections scheduled for November, noting that working-class voters will be most affected by the current political conditions. He predicts these voters will blame Trump for the situation and punish his party by abstaining from voting.

Andrew Dice wrote that a decrease in enthusiasm among traditional Republicans and the loss of support from independents will dim the Republican Party’s prospects in this year’s midterm elections and potentially in 2028.
