Iraqi Resistance Vows Stronger Resolve After Assassination of Larijani

The Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada Islamic Resistance in Iraq has declared that the assassination of Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, will only strengthen the determination of resistance fighters. The group issued a statement extending condolences and emphasizing Larijani’s role as an exemplary figure of the Islamic resistance movement.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada Islamic Resistance in Iraq issued a statement mourning the martyrdom of the mujahid and steadfast scholar Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council. The statement offered condolences to the Supreme Leader, the noble and courageous people of Islamic Iran, and Larijani’s esteemed family. It described the martyred Larijani as a distinguished product of the Islamic resistance school, whose presence on the front lines of defending the path of Islam and the Revolution had been a thorn in the side of enemies for years. The statement highlighted his courage, sharp insight, and foresight on the resistance fronts as a model for Islamic fighters.

The statement further asserted that the Zionist-American enemies, facing desperation in their unequal and wicked war against the Islamic Ummah, mistakenly believe that assassinating resistance icons like Larijani and his comrades will extinguish the flame of resistance. However, they fail to understand that martyrdom is among the cherished desires that fighters ask of God at every moment.

While Larijani’s martyrdom is a bitter and sorrowful event for the Islamic community, the resistance line, and the people, enemies must recognize that this treacherous assassination will not only fail to create any crack in the firm motivation of the Islamic Ummah to destroy the front of disbelief but will also solidify our resolve for a severe and painful retaliation.
