Hezbollah Intensifies Attacks on Israeli Territory, Sirens Sound in Northern Israel

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli sources have reported ongoing attacks by Hezbollah into occupied territories. Hebrew Channel 12 reported that two Israelis sustained severe injuries from an anti-tank missile in the Moshav Mevo’ot HaHermon settlement, near Lebanon, with one individual in critical condition. Reports also indicate that two vehicles in the same settlement, close to the Lebanese border, caught fire as a result of Hezbollah operations. Concurrently, Israeli media announced that sirens sounded along the coast of Beit She’an, on the border with Lebanon. Sirens were also activated in Rosh HaNikra, in northern Israeli territory, after rockets were fired from Lebanon. In a statement, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon declared that at 3:10 AM on Sunday, March 22, 2026, in defense of Lebanon and its people, resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers near the Khiam detention center with heavy missiles. Hezbollah also announced shelling of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles near the town of Taybeh in southern Lebanon. The party stated that it targeted Israeli soldiers at the newly established Hamamess base south of Khiam with a volley of missiles, and similarly targeted Israeli soldiers in Wadi al-Asafir, also south of Khiam, with another missile barrage. Meanwhile, reports indicate that following rocket fire, the danger sirens sounded in the settlement of Margaliot, near the Lebanese border. The occupying army also claimed in a statement that the 36th Division is continuing intensive ground operations to destroy Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
