Four Israeli Soldiers Injured in Southern Lebanon Drone Attack

The Israeli military reported that four of its personnel were wounded by a suicide drone attack launched from southern Lebanon, escalating cross-border hostilities.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli army announced on Tuesday evening that four of its forces were injured during an attack by a suicide drone in southern Lebanon, according to data published by the Mehr News Agency, quoting Al Mayadeen.

The occupying army’s statement indicated that one reserve soldier sustained moderate injuries, and three other soldiers suffered minor wounds.

However, the Israeli army did not provide further details regarding the location and method of this operation.

In response, Hezbollah announced on Tuesday through a series of statements that it had carried out eight missile and drone operations against Israeli military personnel and equipment in various areas of southern Lebanon. These operations were conducted in retaliation for the continuous violations of the fragile ceasefire by the Israeli regime since April 17.

One day prior, the Israeli army had reported the death of one officer and the injury of seven other soldiers. However, Hebrew media outlets emphasized that these casualties also resulted from a Hezbollah drone attack.

The Hebrew newspaper Haaretz reported that since the beginning of the latest round of conflict on March 2, at least 27 Israeli officers and soldiers have been killed on the southern Lebanon front. Additionally, four settlers have died during the same period.

Conversely, the Israeli regime launched extensive aggressions against Lebanon starting March 2, which, according to official statistics, have resulted in the martyrdom of 3,468 people and the injury of 10,577 others, displacing over a million individuals.

The occupying regime continues to hold parts of Lebanese territory under its control and, as part of its recent aggressions, has advanced approximately 10 kilometers into Lebanon’s southern border.
