Israeli Attacks on Lebanon Leave Dozens Dead and Injured

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli army has carried out fresh incursions into Lebanese territory, striking southern regions with missiles and drones. These actions are viewed as a breach of the existing ceasefire agreement.
Al Mayadeen reported that the Israeli military targeted the Al-Housh area in the Tyre Governorate. Sources confirmed that the attack wounded several Lebanese civilians. Media outlets in Lebanon also reported the death of a Lebanese rescue worker following an Israeli offensive on the town of Arabisalem.
Further reports indicate Israeli drone strikes on a vehicle in the town of Qana. Earlier, the Israeli regime conducted missile attacks in the town of Deir Zahrani in Nabatieh. Additionally, an Israeli drone strike in the town of Tabyin, within the Bint Jbeil district, targeted a vehicle, resulting in one fatality.
In a separate incident, an Israeli military vehicle was struck in the Deir Zahrani area. The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that night raids by the Israeli regime on the Burj Al-Shamali, Abba, and Tabyin areas in southern Lebanon claimed the lives of at least five Lebanese individuals and injured 48 others.
In parallel, Israeli analyst Ofer Shalev commented that Hezbollah, much like Hamas in Gaza, has demonstrated an ability to learn and continue the fight. He posited that an occupation of Lebanese territory by the Israeli army would inevitably lead to an operational quagmire, imposing escalating costs, casualties, and attrition on Israel daily.
Shalev emphasized that historical precedent indicates the sustained presence of the Israeli army in southern Lebanon will foster renewed and strong resistance. He added that Hezbollah or other groups would derive legitimacy from their struggle against the occupier and would rebuild themselves, mirroring the movement’s experience 18 years prior.
